Yoga …

strengthens the body,

Quiets the mind,

opens the heart.

Our Founder

Dr. Lesa Klein, 500 RYT

Yoga is my path
to a healthy,
meaningful, and
love filled life.

I am honored to teach and respect the teachers before me.  I have been practicing yoga since I was a young girl watching Lilas Folan on PBS.  As an adult, I practiced sporadically at home and with VHS tapes.  When I was pregnant with my youngest son, I found a wonderful yoga teacher who encouraged me to practice more regularly.  As my family grew, and so did my optometric practice, I found I needed a consistent practice to help calm my mind and nurture my body. My practice intensified in 2007, and in 2016 I graduated from my 200 teacher training.  I recently completed my 500 advance training.

My classes are accessible and inspirational. I love teaching and always bring a lesson and a laugh to each class.

~Namaste

Lesa has been practicing yoga on and off the mat most of her life. She is as enthusiastic now as when she first began watching early PBS shows and VCR tapes.

Yoga continues to shape her life providing balance and mindfulness.

In 1995, while pregnant with her youngest son, she attended her first ‘real class’ in Webster Groves, MO.

She continued to take classes on and off, and finally found her teacher, Mary Haynes. Mary’s background in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga gently guided her into proper alignment and strengthening. Lesa knew she wanted to deepen her practice of the asanas and the mind body connection. In 2016 she completed her 200 RYT at Yoga Source in St. Louis, MO. The course was deep in tradition, and Lesa continues to respect the early teachings as she weaves the 8 Limbs of Yoga into all of her classes. In 2016 she moved to 30A and began teaching. Lesa completed her 500 RYT certification through Dragon Fly Yoga in 2018. Lesa is also certified in Eldoa 1 & 2, and QiGong. A health care provider for over 30 years, Dr. Klein remains committed to a healthy lifestyle. Part of her career as an adjunct professor, instilled a lifelong commitment to teaching. Her approach to class is gentle, honest and fun loving.

Being mindful that we are all on this journey together, she will forever remain a teacher as well as student.

They say a true Yogi is practicing yoga before they take their first class. Lesa has been practicing yoga on and off the mat most of her life. She is as enthusiastic now as when she first began watching PBS yoga shows and videos. Yoga continues to shape her life providing balance and mindfulness.

Lesa wanted to deepen her practice of the asanas and the mind-body connection. In 2016, she completed her RYT 200 training at Yoga Source in St. Louis, MO. Shortly thereafter, she could no longer ignore the call of the ocean, moved to 30A and began teaching. Lesa completed her RYT 500 certification through Dragon Fly Yoga, in Ft. Walton Beach, in 2018. Lesa is also certified in Eldoa 1 & 2 and QiGong.

A health care provider for over 30 years, Dr. Klein remains committed to a healthy lifestyle. Part of her career as an adjunct professor instilled a lifelong commitment to teaching. Lesa is delighted to bring her yoga practice to the beach and share her love for the sand and sea with fellow yogis or beginners. Her approach to class is gentle, honest and fun-loving.

Being mindful that we are all on this journey together, she will forever remain a teacher as well as student.

When she's not on her mat, Lesa is often found riding her gorgeous horse, Viggo.
